At thirty one, Gavin Mathis is at the peak of his professional football career as a Detroit Lion and Gavin doesn’t have time for a serious relationship or the younger half brother who is deserted on his doorstep by their delinquent father. Wanting to help, but not quite sure what to do, he asks his best friend’s sister, Anna Prescott, an accomplished chef, to take over child-rearing responsibilities until his father returns.
